| jack the rear end off the ground take off rear wheels lower parking brake handle all the way pop out the nickel-sized grommets on drums and use flathead screwdriver to adjust brake shoes until they begin to drag on the drums when you turn them, then back them "a bit" off so that the wheels/drums turn freely put wheels back on and car on ground and you are done how high the handle will now go to engage the brake depends on how much of "a bit" you backed the adjustment off I didnt back mine off very much and now the parking brake engaged very early, the lever doesnt come up very high at all, and is very firm.
